Hall & Oates | Big Bam Boom

Hall & Oates | Big Bam Boom
The album that didn't get a lot of coverage & held a significant single from being placed as a track on any of their Greatest Hits albums (well maybe a few), M.E.T.H.O.D., is now finally being recognized by the cat from the spot, Charles. Yes, that's me. From the album - Big Bam Boom
After bucking the trend of hit songs after hit songs in the 80's & right into the 90's, the duo Hall & Oates was a nonstop hit machine after every song they wrote. Every track they spun. Every pen stroke not missed. Every Harmony hummed before and after you got out of the shower.
The Big, Bam Boom.
I want to be a total fan here. Its relevant to make sure anything covered or respectfully reviewed from my folder of 'clients' (Musical geniuses noted on The Back In The Day) be paid its ultimate respect. While old school music tendered psychological impact on baby boomers & influenced generations of musical pundits, its important to state where my drive & interest is, since joining The Urban Music Scene last year.
Quite frankly, Hall & Oates should have been a honorary award recipient on ANY Soul music award show by now. Most of their music drove the market share of pop related themes & closeness to the alternative. But the duo's marksmanship/tandem bike riding experience craved just about every soul music lover I knew. Everybody in the Soul music industry. Most of their music is either sampled, covered, remixed, redone, or plain & simply reproduced by just about every artist & genre on the planet.
Influence?
Are you kidding me?
"Out Of Touch" is STILL being played on modern radio. So is "Sara Smile" & the rest of the hit collection. But "Method of Modern Love" was a master release. So soulful, head & shoulder shruggin', its still hard to believe it only achieved the highest chart measure of #5 on Billboard Singles back in 1985.
So let this be a reminder & a tribute to 2 great guys who came with an A game. Hall & Oates...
