Cheryl Lynn - Preppie

Here comes the "Encore" of Ms. Cheryl Lynn!!

And yes! That was the supa-dupa, mega 80's, supreme old school jam for the decades!! No jokin' around here!
Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis would have to be cemented in history over this track because it really brought out & made known the presence of Cheryl Lynn in her music. Her approach to R&B, whether it be duets with Luther Vandross or bringin' on more danceable R&B tracks for your club scene...

In fact, that track has been copied or sampled lots of times. But NONE of them can beat this!!

Track Listing:
~ Encore
~ Fix It
~ Fool A Fool
~ This Time
~ Change The Channel
~ Preppie
~ Love Rush
~ No One Else Will Do
~ Free
~ Life's Too Short

And "Fix It" followed closely right after "Encore". There's a couple of other tracks for immediate rythmn, including "Love Rush" & "Change The Channel". The whole album actually needed the complete support of "Encore", or better yet....have more production from Jam & Lewis to actually bring on more jams.

There's a few slow cuts that will remind you of Cheryl's ability to set it straight with her vocals, but overall, this album should be considered something added to your collection just for the sake of the 1st track.

Find it if you can!
