Howard Johnson - The Vision

Yes, Yes Ya'll!! Its R&B crooner Howard Johnson!

Remember the cut, "So Fine"? ("oooohhh......so fine......so fine, you blow my mind!"). If you do, then this may be the refresher manhy of you may not know anything about!

Here is another offering from Mr. Johnson. And with the contributions from, again, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis as well as Monte Moir & Jermaine Jackson, the R&B groove never stops & continues along the same pace as the previous projects.

Track Listing:
~ Stand Up
~ Knees
~ So Tuff
~ Outta My Head
~ You've Got A Lot To Learn
~ Show Me How
~ All We Have Is Love
~ Older Girl

The tracks that quickly stood out quickly was the very same ones produced by the Jam & Lewis connection. "Knees" slowly but surely creeps right into a mega-groove destined to snatch you off the couch! The same goes for "Stand Up"! Courtesy of Mr. Johnson of course; And if you were a Karyn White fan (R&B vocalist), then you could appreciate her background vocals to "Outta My Head" & "Show Me How". Nevertheless, the whole album cuts the rug. Coming straight at ya'll from 1985!

This is one of those albums that should get complete airplay, from beginning to end. Front & Back, on both sides of the vinyl. Its good music to be treasured & its another reason to hold on to these projects if you still have them. Especially if it is owned on vinyl!
