The Greatest Hits Of Stephanie Mills

Man, One of my most favorite Female R&B vocalists of all time gets reviewed just for the heck of it!! Nah Ya'll, I love the voice of Stephanie Mills! In going through my vinyl collection the other day, I was brought to complete satisfaction in the way she presented soulful compositions, 'get up n groove' tracks & a reminder of the old school era to when there was some real good music out there! And here's a greatest hits collection, out of so many more for her, that I just chosen by chance to drop on ya'll!

Track Listing:
~ Never Knew Love Like This
~ Two Hearts
~ What Cha Gonna Do With My Lovin'
~ Everlasting Love
~ Put Your Body In It
~ Winner
~ Sweet Sensation
~ Wish That You Were Mine
~ I Believe In Love Songs
~ Top Of My List

"Never Knew Love Like This". Every so often makes my Wife pull out the CD & play it back to start something in the bonus room, at home! Like, "The partay just got started!!". And then I would have no choice but to slow her back down to appreciate the vocal prowess of Mr. Teddy Pendergrass in "Two Hearts". That track was one of most favorite duets since Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell...&....Rick James & Teena Marie! What tracks was I talking about T.U.M.S.??; "Sweet Sensation" was the jam too! Do ya'll remember that one?

Please, don't get me wrong. I do know that the collection, as far as the CD cover art shown, is lacking most of her greatest hits! I had to pull something out on ya'll to get something started! In fact, the majority of tracks came well before those home run hits "I Feel Good (All Over)", "You're Puttin A Little Rush On Me", & lots more.

Just in case some of you didn't know, she also had released a couple of gospel albums down the road, as well as a Christmas album. A songbird like her should'nt stop recording!!
