The album ultimately produced by Dave Grusin, Don Blackmon, Roy Haynes, Buster Williams, Marcus Miller (more on him will come very shortly to the urban music scene....), Al "Wink" Flythe, & The Jamaica All Stars proved this: Funk was in! The Funk thrives...with JAZZ! & without notice!
And ya'll should either find out a way to place this in your archives or just call it a day! No.....Seriously!
The whole project needs to be re-spun over & over again with no interruptions. Class is in session...
Melodies 'Hip-Hop' grooved right down to the bone. Incredible compositions overlaces each other. Mr. Wright WILL be best remembered by this one. Hot tracks! Hot Flavor! Let's breakdance with him...It should be an anthem to Breakers still out there doin' it!
