This LP left monumental bricks & mortars. It revealed the lyrical prowess of Rakim & literally changed the game entirely in the way an emcee should hold & maintain the Mic. A master in his own right, Rakim would continue to dominate down the line with a couple other projects before going solo, away from Eric B. Nevertheless, it seemed like every track from this project became either a hit or a underground smash!
The title track "Paid In Full" rocked the club scene. From the opening track "I Ain't No Joke" to 12" classic "Erib B Is President", each track contained memorable productions, memorable lyrics & memorable dance anthems. "I know you got soul" became a major hit! The James Brown flavored melody rode Eric B & Rakim to mainstream success & undoubtly made them a force to be reckoned with!

Regardless of the additional remixes, "Paid In Full" remains to be one of the best selling Rap Records today. Not to mention, its getting major airplay in all places today from around the world!
