Jeffery Osbourne - From The Soul

Osborne

Ladies (& I especially say LADIES!!) & Gentleman!

I re-introduce to you ....... Mr. Jeffrey Osbourne!!!!

(Yeah, I wish I could say that from a Live Performance & a Studio Audience in my kitchen....)

But Really Folks, The return of Mr. Osbourne with his latest release "From The Soul," is a absolute winner!

This project has the makings of becoming a classic, with the project already featuring classics! Simply because of the way Mr. Osbourne took his legendary voice & changed the hooks & vocal rifts throughout the CD, pertaining to each song.

His baritone vocals, REALLY does justice to many of these previous hits. Such as the collaboration with Boney James on the monstruous candlelight -- Baby Makin' -- Teddy Pendergrass classic "Close The Door," and a rendition of Stevie Wonders melody "Knocks Me Off My Feet," and "All At Once,"a previous hit from Whitney Houston; Curtis Mayfield's "People Get Ready"; Aretha Franklin's "Till You Come Back To Me" ......& so much more!!

The greatest surprise for me, actually, was the production. This project was produced by Smooth Jazz prodigy Mr. Paul Brown. And yes, He does a fine job on this release!

This album is fantastic! I'm planning on taking this one outside by the BBQ Island! With that comes the fire & the meat! Yeah! I'm droppin' some St. Louis Baby Back Ribs on the grill! Servin' it up next to a plate of Corn on the Cob, some BBQ Baked Beans, a pot of Southern steamed Cabbage & Smoked Turkey Wings .....followed VERY closely by a bottle of S. Australian Cabernet Sauvignon!!! VERY CLOSELY!

CHEERS goes out to the return of Mr. Jeffrey Osbourne on a fine release! I hope this project fulfills your appetite for good R&B music. Once again, Thanks for visiting The Urban Music Scene!
